Details Eligibility:
- Education: B.E or B.Tech Full Time in Automobile or Mechanical or Production or Mechatronics or Equivalent
- Experience Required: 1 to 6 Years as per below mentioned job description.
Skill Set:
- Machining Process, MS Office(PowerPoint & Excel), Project Management, Engineering & Logics, Report making, Equipment Installation & Commissioning.
- Project sequence scheduling, Actual site management and manpower management.
- Maintaining cordial relationship with internal teams and vendors for project completion.
- Coordinating and managing the tasks with vendor to complete the project on time.
- Onsite project management and project execution from erection to trial/commissioning.
- New projects training arrangement with vendor for End user teams (Production, Maintenance, QC ).
- Analytical, Reporting (Microsoft office), Interpersonal Skills
Functional Knowledge:
- Automobile Engine & Transmission – “Machining” – Process flow & Equipment operations
- MS Office (PowerPoint & Excel) – Mandatory

Job Description:
- NPI (New Product Introduction) in Machine Shop of Engine & Transmission – Automobile Factory.
- Project Planning – Line Study, Investment plan, Equipment maker analysis, RFQ, Specification Preparation & BoM, Cost Estimation, Approval.
- Project Execution – Material delivery, Inspection, Installation, Trial run, Quality & Efficiency achievement, Liaison & Standby.
- Project Stabilization – Training stakeholders, Improvements, Handover, Payment & Fiscal Mgmt, Countermeasure, Review.
- Others – Engineering Sustainability initiatives, Standardization of process & production line in 4M basis, Reports to Management & Documentation.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Should have complete knowledge in end to end process – Vehicle Engine & Transmission “Machining”.
- Analyzing existing production line condition to enable the production of new engine & transmission models (multiple model production in common line)
- Detail studying / review of production line in actuals.
- Project design discussion with Shop floor End user teams (Production, Maintenance, QC)
- Preparing project specification and scope of work considering industrial standards (compiling all process platforms of Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical etc)
- Project resource planning & effective utilization
- Planning project equipment’s / materials purchasing along with Procurement team. Follow activities from vendor selection to installation/commissioning.
- Coordinate with Project support teams like Finance, Procurement, Business Planning, Safety, Customs at each stage to compile the norms and regulations
- Project fiscal management and related clearance (buying & billing)
- Project equipment / material preparation site check at vendor end including overseas visit and correction if required.
- Project execution in line (On Site) – Equipment installation, Commissioning, Trial run and Counter measure for interference.
- Post project production line stabilization for error free mass production and matching cycle time.
- Final handover of completed project to End user teams (like Production, Maintenance, QC)
- Operating efficiency analysis of Production line
- Plant aging facility improvement plan preparation & execution if required.
